The "Boschetto del Bastione" is an area covered with shrubs and trees that extends along the southern perimeter of the defensive walls. This grove, on one hand, protects the cliff from surface erosion, and on the other hand, it obstructs the view from the garden of the surrounding panorama.

The selective cutting interventions of the shrubs will be limited to trimming or pruning the plants near the lookout points facing the southern side of the fortress and thinning out the plants covering the perimeter walls to restore the visibility of the defensive structures of the stronghold.
